Per the WaPo, Gov. Sammiches is about to bellyflop into the crowded pool of candidates:
Christie is expected to announce a campaign as soon as the coming days after concluding that none of the other Republicans in the race are willing to take on Trump forcefully, our colleague Maeve Reston tells us. (Hutchinson might disagree.) He and his allies have concluded that there are no “lanes” in the Republican primary, and that the only way to win is “through Trump,” not around him.
Christie is eager to take on Trump on a debate stage and he’s convinced support for DeSantis is soft, Maeve says.

I hope he does well and injects a better perspective to the republicans than the either-or choice of dumb or dumber.
Yeah, I know some will say “dumb, dumber and dumber then” but, as bad as Christie is, he isn’t near as bad/vile/dumb as Dump and De’Skankis.

Why I’m so old, I remember him being the guy who had to fetch the McSammiches and personally deliver the greasy sack to the big greasy sac after he’d been run out of the primary and came crawling back to smell the glove.
Mid West state fairs best be ordering MOAR corndogs.

Maybe I am wrong, but I get the feeling that Christie is more your regular type of crook, than a want-to-be ‘kingpin’ like the Donald. After tRump’s reaching, grasping, and conniving, it would be refreshing to vote against a regular kind of crook like Christie. He has his faults but I don’t see him trying to take over the country.
