It really has come to this:
Florida Principal Out After Viewing Of Michelangelo’s ‘David’ Upsets Parents
Three (3!) parents complained about an art teacher showing a picture of Michelangelo’s 16th-century buck-nekkid sculpture of David and they fired the bastard for showing pron to the kiddies (sixth graders, I believe).
My guess is that Republicans are soon to ban The Renaissance what with free-thinkers, and art and such that doesn’t feature dogs playing poker or the singing fish.

When are we going to see chastity belts and penis cages on 10 year olds?

Mike Pence is making the cilice a fashion accessory for the theocrat set.
Of course, he gave Mother the remote control for it.

Oh please let it be some flaw-ridden Internet Of Things device, hacked by someone who will have fun with it, say, during the Debates 🙂

Hey! don’t forget Velvet Elvii and the masterworks of McNaughton who is a greater artist than all those pansy Renaissance “artists” combined!
I mean the Sistine Chapel doesn’t even have the slightest hint of the Greatness of ‘MericahFuckYeah!!! Everyone knows God was supposed reaching out to Ripped Trump. With tears in his eyes, saying “Sir…”

And I thought Thomas Kinkade was bad. McNaughton is so far up his own ass he’s seeing stars.

Absolutely. Hubert Lanzinger comes to mind: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hubert_Lanzinger (in german, but th work I’m thinking of is linked there, complete with the bayonet damage from when it was captured)
He’s unhinged.

I wonder what the Vatican is going to say about this. I bet the Pope had a good laugh at least.

God made man in His own image. An image which is obscene, apparently, to many Christians.

It’s entirely consistent with christian dogma. Part of the expulsion from the Garden of Eden was Adam and Eve being ashamed of their bodies and covering up.
All the missionaries in the 18th and 19th centuries were fanatics about this, especially about (of course) women’s bodies.
And it’s just the start of the incoherent nonsense at the heart of Christian dogma.

When are they going to consider the rights of the parents who want their children to actually get an education?

Never, because it really in’t at all about “parent’s rights”, but Wilhoit’s law.

i think it’s safe to assume none of those three complaining parents had ever been to a museum (or a library). oh, hell, it’s doubtful any of them went to school past 6th grade.
