Some Clarity For Ben Shapiro, Courtesy of Neil DeGrasse Tyson

Object in image is slightly larger than it appears

Scissorhead M Davis sends this one, and it is pretty good. I’ve been thinking about what Neil DeGrasse Tyson says, and it’s pretty stunning in its clarity.

Yes, the look on Li’l Ben’s face as he gets schooled by one of his idols is pretty choice, but frankly Tyson’s response is a complete rethinking of how sports and divisions are formed by segregating, and maybe he’s right. But it’s far from clear what that would look like, but it is a more cogent argument than any I’ve heard so far.

  1. Little Benny Shapiro is SUCH a whiny little git.

I am not a fan of Jordan Peterson but, he offered a solution that instead of sports being segregated by gender they be by chromosome. You have the XX League and the XY League. Simpler than measuring hormone levels I would guess.

Whichever makes Ben more sad is what I favor.

There are some interesting things to process here!

    1 Sports ultimately becoming genderless
2 Hormonal levels being measured for a more level playing field
3 Sports that require upper body strength having a women’s competition and a mixed-gender competition instead of exclusively men’s
4 Does Shapiro really sound like that? Holy shit, that explains a lot.
5 Whatever makes Ben more sad is both reasonable and proper.

I’m pretty sure little Ben has trouble with the concept of this being a free country part.

      Pagan,

In support of your theory, my favorite Ben story is that upon hearing the song W.A.P. (look it up, this is a family blog!), he approached his doctor/wife(!) and asked her if a W.A.P. was a medical condition, having never experienced it himself.

And that’s probably too much info.

        Thanks, that was funny.

Although, I feel a little damp after listening.

This and the DeSantiwipe with Mickey face made me laugh.

Thanks again. It’s good to laugh. I always enjoy your Blog, thanks for being here.

P.S. Old Bennie seems a little too tightly wrapped. Also Bennie reminded me of George Carlin and his “English Language” routine
with “Fine and Dandy” 5:30, and “More than Happy” 8:00. Bennie seems like he’s more that happy.
