    This is why I never park where there is a sign that says they will tow my car. I believe them. My daughter derides me for obeying signs but I still have my car!

    I need that sign here. I live on a one-lane dirt road. I have a neighbor moving out and he had friends helping. Happen to be the week/s it snowed here in sunny Ca. One pickup got stuck and they tried to get out with roofing shingles under the tires and left the shingles. Another car was parked in the road when I was chained up and 4 wheeling to get out. I asked if they needed help and they tell me “Oh, you can’t get out, our car is in the way”. Humm.
    Later another suburban thing was stopped on the road. I’m not sure but I think they were taking the snow out of their socks. I try to be patient but it was a snowy day and I needed to get to town and back. It’s a private road and I am more than willing to put a tow chain on an obstacle that blocks the road. I like the ‘still missing’ part especially. There’s a nice drop-off at the dead end of my road.
