It seems that twice-impeached LOSER ex-prznint Stupid wants a do-over. Axios’ morning email thingie:
Former President Trump predicted this morning that he will be arrested Tuesday, urging his supporters to “PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!”
What’s happening: Law enforcement officials are making security preparations for the possibility of a Trump indictment as soon as next week.
- They’re preparing for a possible courtroom appearance by Trump following a Manhattan district attorney’s investigation of hush money paid to women who allege sexual encounters with him, AP reports.
- In a sign a denouement is near, Trump was offered a chance to testify.
The big picture: If indicted, Trump would be the first sitting or former president in U.S. history to face criminal charges, Axios’ Herb Scribner writes.
- His lawyer, Joseph Tacopina, said, “We will follow the normal procedures.”
I will keep reminding people: there are multiple crimes here, not just paying off a porn star. You have to remember context that it was during a campaign, which makes it a campaign reporting FEC violation. That he did it in such a way through an intermediary makes it potentially a RICO violation; that he then wrote it off on his taxes could bring in some sort of federal tax avoidance implications. All of these are money-related crimes and as we know, following the money is the prime rule of political crimes, and are (allegedly) easy to prove.
Still, I will believe it when I see it. I’ve been let down since 2016 and I am not dreaming of a chicken dinner when all I have is egg on my face.

I’ve been let down since at least 1974, and have no hopes anything will come from this. “Anything” being accountability and goddamned conviction for crimes committed. I’m so sick of this shit. And definitely not optimistic.

From the way it looks, at best he’ll get a conviction on a misdemeanor offense. Probably complete failure. Bragg definitely acts like somebody has the receipts on him. Corrupt to the bone.

Creepy. It’s like I’m reading The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich while it’s happening in real life around me. I suppose we’re lucky the similarities end when you compare their ages. Definitely expect a book if the orange turd goes to jail

Donny’s screed (scream?) there really got me. I didn’t know a human could squeal so like a pig. Spare me the Donald Pleasant meme, please. So many records broken by this bozo. Twice impeached is one of my favorites. First charged my may the #1 spot but I need to see what comes of that circus first.
Just a wishing for a perp walk in tiny handcuffs and leg irons, and I know they have already said that isn’t happening so anything is going to be somewhat of a letdown. Besides, do they even make kiddie-sized handcuffs?

Keeping my fingers crossed. But MDavis is right, Tuesday will come and go and TFG will still be here. I am still keeping my playlist for the happy day when he falls. It has to happen eventually. I hope i live to see that day.

I doubt he’ll see a day in jail, but isn’t he tired? Keeping up this charade must get tiring. Lord knows I’m tired. Maybe the corrupt are onto something because they’re always energised and ready to scam. tired sigh

At the very least, we can draw some comfort in knowing he’s sheeting his diapered panties. It’s also chuckle worthy that he didn’t get the fist-pumping rage-machine defense reaction he was begging and crying for.
