Meanwhile, In Arizona

No Labels – all things to anyone or nothing to everyone?

Somewhere, Traitor Joe Lieberman is sprouting wood that can be seen by the International Space Station:

No Labels Party qualifies for Arizona ballot in 2024

…Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes (D) said in a statement on Tuesday that the No Labels Party surpassed the minimum requirement for signatures to be placed on a ballot and has qualified as a party for federal, statewide and legislative races in the 2024 primaries and general elections in the state.

…The Democratic think tank Third Way criticized No Labels in a memo released earlier on Tuesday, insisting that it would only play a spoiler for Democratic candidates and does not have a conceivable way to win an election.

Arizona has 11 electoral votes, and so this could (in theory) hand the presidential election to the House to decide if it gums up the vote.

  1. The bar for getting recognized is low: https://azsos.gov/elections/candidates/running-office/creating-political-party

Currently you need only 34,127 signatures of registered voters to be on the ballot. The No Labels Party (which will presumably eschew any indication of who they are on the ballot since they don’t like labels) got 56, 387 valid-ish signatures which is 1.3% of registered voters in AZ.

I will wager that half of those are the squishy kind of centrists who like the concept of the No Labels Party, and half are MAGAt’s thinking this is a way to pwn the libtards.

“That’s OUR job, dammit!!” they continued
