And in CPAC News

Insurrection adjacent/entusiast Rep. Scott Perry is having a normal one at CPAC:

Rep. Perry was last seen in these pages trying to fight the subpoena of his phone as material evidence of his participation in the January 6 Stupid Coup; he also asked for a presidential pardon, which is an odd thing for a fellow to do, you know, when the same fellow wants to lock up the opposition for unnamed crimes. Not that there’s any fascism here, or anything.

Yep, exactly. They even speak the way people talk when they’re sleep-deprived, under the influence of extreme caffeine, and worried.

I went to the video to see for myself, but what I notices was big, dark bags under his eyes.
Also, he is objecting to the government using the awesome power of the government to enforce laws, so this is gang talk.
I think it’s what they like to refer to as the Chicago way, althouhg it is just a threat when it’s a speech.
I might not be accurately remembering what actions this cohort refers to as “the Chicago way”, other than anything Obama tried to accomplish. I was thinking the mob-light thing tfg likes to say – they hit me, I hit back harder.

Thank you bdr – that’s about what I remembered, although not in context. And, like so many other sayings and words, it was repurposed by the bloody right wing.
Now, instead of just meaning “escalate until you win”, it has an alternate definition. Now it also means “anything Obama does, especially if it inconveniences the top 10%”. *
By extension, it has come to mean anything that a Democrat does, especially if it helps people who aren’t in Reagans “silent majority” (neither silent or in the majority) which have now also been rebranded a few times, arriving at Maga nation, AKA The Basket of Deplorables.

Let’s be realistic, the top 1% are never really touched by rules.

His shrink told him about projection and he decided to practice until he got it right.
Psych! He doesn’t believe in shrinks since saint Ronnie defunded access to them.
