Adam Kinzinger’s New Both-Sides Political Thingie Is Going Just Great

Following Adam Kinzinger’s formation of a third-way, sensible-center political project yesterday, Axios is reporting, uh, something?

Capitol Hill swarmed by performers in straitjackets

Former Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) turned heads on Capitol Hill this week by sending performance artists dressed in straitjackets and blue-and-red tinted glasses to the House offices…

The performers were first spotted roaming the House office buildings on Tuesday, perplexing lawmakers and staffers with their unwillingness to speak or do anything to broadcast their message.

So people in straight jackets silently wandering around the capitol.

And that’s what counts as political theater from the mind of Adam Kinzinger.

This is getting ridiculous. This guy thinks there’s a sensible center that he can lead, and Kellyanne below thinks there are people who watch Hannity who aren’t MAGA types and who read the Columbia Journalism Review.

    • And he thinks both parties are literally brainwashing people and sticking them in camps.

Even during the Halcyon Daze of Tip-n-Ronnie …there were two parties with significant differences.

[narrator] Those days weren’t anything near ‘halcyon’

I used to think that Adam Kinzinger was one of the saner members of that (the GQP) party, but I was wrong. His stunt makes no sense…

  4. Kinzinger’s eleventy-dimensional Pop-o-matic Trouble must’ve seemed brilliant in his imagination. Perhaps the next great medieval thinker.

If those outfits had sleeves, Malignant Marge could never have been expected to join in the fun as she couldn’t show her armpits.

  7. Apparently they were supposed to use the non-human-readable code that could send your phone to any number of Bad Places QR code that goes to https://www.breakfreenow.org

And more importantly the break free store, and grifting portal donation page.

As I said to Margie when she dressed up as a balloon, if you have to explain the costume, it’s not working.

So this is what happens when Republicans do their own messaging instead of leaving it to their professionals.
