Report: Kari Lake Is Likely Running For Senate In Arizonastan

The terrible sand people of the terrible sand kingdom of Arizonastan.

As if to prove our point from the Sunday Sermonette, the Queen of the Big Lie Kari Lake seems determined to enter the Senate race in the Terrible Sand Kingdom of Arizonastan. Because conservatives cannot fail, they can only be failed? Sure.

Former Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake is inching closer to deciding to run for Senate, and her expected candidacy has frozen the Republican field in the state as other Senate hopefuls wait for her decision.

See? The allegedly less-addled Terrible People of the Sand Kingdom are afraid to enter the race because they know the base is with Lake:

[Lake] enjoys the highest favorability ratings among Republican primary voters of five potential GOP candidates, followed by former GOP Senate candidate Blake Masters, according to a private poll, portions of which were obtained by The Washington Post, that is viewed by Republican strategists as an accurate snapshot of the mood of the GOP electorate. Both candidates were endorsed by former president Donald Trump in their earlier bids.

Lake, as we all know lost the gubernatorial election and has claimed, Trump-like, that it was stolen, never conceded and has gone on a national tour telling every mad dog in the land that she is the duly-elected governor of TTSKoA, and you know, for the Republican base what’s not to love about that kinda crazy?

Right now (I am wagering), some outside group is drafting a [truthful] ad stating that Lake is too conservative for Arizona, and lord only knows she’s giving them plenty of material to work with or kindling for the fire, depending on your point of view.

Insert your own joke about the definition of insanity here, it definitely applies.

With any luck she will (in her mind) be both the Governor and Senator of TTSKoA.

Republicans have been voting against their own self interests for over 40 years now and it’s finally starting to show.

Okay, I’m gonna recycle the age old definition of insanity. It’s doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Seems apropos…
