Happy Hour News

Republicans head to Charleston.

Sorry, Charleston:

Former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley plans to launch her presidential campaign in less than two weeks with an event in Charleston, S.C. Sen. Tim Scott will kick off a “listening tour” a day later — from the same city — before following Haley to Iowa. Former vice president Mike Pence will be in Charleston next week.

You know, it’s funny enough that these delusional and talentless bums think that they are prznintial contenders, but they don’t even have the imagination to start their doomful campaigns from different cities?

But here’s the quote that made me guffaw:

“We’re in the preseason,” said Dave Kochel, who was chief strategist on Jeb Bush’s 2016 presidential campaign. But he added, “there’s no downside to getting into this thing and getting to work.”

Yeah, you really want to listen to ¡JEB!’s campaign manager.

Now we’re in for nearly two years of having these fuckers campaigning. We need rules like the UK and other countries have that limit campaigning to a limited number of months before the actual election. This is worse than having Christmas advertising showing up before Hallowe’en is over.

  3. It’s a grift, of course. As we’ve seen, if one of the accidentally gets elected, they panic. It’s a good thing for them that we don’t have a functioning justice department, or the jails would be full.

If the worst thing they do is fleece the rubes, then it’s hard to discourage them. Sadly, that is never the worst thing that they do.

    Charleston?

Why not kick these campaigns off at Fredericksburg or Chancellorsville.

Sop Charleston is now a popular campaign location from Republicans.
