I’m not going to argue for MTG’s intelligence, but I will point out that she seems to be exceedingly cunning.
Notice that she is using this hearing to amplify some bullshit theories of her own. I can’t even tell if her witness is in on it. I’m going to link a couple of twitter-videos.
In the first one, she amplifies her accent to let the witness act confused. In her repeat of the question her accent is vastly reduced so her question is a lot clearer – and clarifying gives her a chance to spout some slanderous stuff.
Pretty much the same with the posted clip and her witness looks confused with a lot less justification.
