As if New Hampshire actually exists (and we have our doubts):

New Hampshire GOP governor says he’s considering 2024 White House bid

GOP Gov. Chris Sununu of New Hampshire said Sunday he is considering a White House bid in 2024, citing the Granite State’s “live free or die” spirit as a model for the Republican Party.

“Yes,” Sununu said when asked by CNN’s Dana Bash on “State of the Union” whether he was considering a presidential run.

“I really don’t have a timeline. I’m spending a lot of time naturally trying to grow the party as Republicans, talk to independents, talk to the next generation of potential Republican voters that right now no one is really reaching out to,” he said.

Is there really a next generation of Republican voters? Do they admit to that… in public?! How does one find such creatures and does it involve a whip and a chair?

Isn’t having a fazillion goats in the R rodeo one of the big reasons why the Tangerine Traitor was able to get the nomination? My brain has been doing its best to block out that period of time, but I thought I might have read this somewhere recently.

    • Well having a fazillion goats AND massive free airtime courtesy of Morning Joe on MSNBC, general promotion on CNN by his former boss when he was playing a rich businessman on TV, Jeff Zucker, and the slobbering support by everyone at Faux Snooze, yes.

      Martin –

That’s my thinking too. Yesterday we noted that he told Nikki Haley to join the fun because he know he can defeat her easily but her entry just makes the ol’ 2016 strategy work. The only person on the Right he seems to fear is DeSanctimonious.

I wonder what Sununu is thinking here. He won’t even win New Hampshire. If he’s positioning himself for 2028, he needs to do something radical to stand out from the GOP herd.

Perhaps acting like a normal, empathic human being.

The equation for finding the future generation of Rs includes multiplying by the square root of -1.

Doesn’t matter to them. They’re betting the house (and Senate, and Presidency) on ruining democracy before it matters. They’re running out of time and getting desperate.
