The terrible sand people of the terrible sand kingdom of Arizonastan.

The Terrible Republicans of the Terrible Sand Kingdom of Arizonastan have elected a new chairperson to head the party and ousted MAGA heartthrob Kelli Ward, whose tenure incidentally included losing three Senate races and governor, secretary of state and attorney general.

So, good for them, I guess?!

Let’s meet the new guy!

[Jeff DeWit] was elected state treasurer in 2014 and resigned in 2018, shortly before his term ended, when he was confirmed as chief financial officer of NASA under Trump. He led Trump’s Arizona campaign in 2016 and was chief operating officer of Trump’s 2020 campaign….

…DeWit was supported by Kari Lake, who lost the race for governor but became a rock star on the right,; Mark Finchem, the defeated candidate for secretary of state; and retired Gen. Michael Flynn. Lake said shortly before the vote that Trump made a last-minute endorsement of DeWit as well, though the former president didn’t say anything on his social media accounts.

A return to what passes for sanity!

    Endorsed by three losers and a traitor. Whatta guy! I honestly don’t remember his tenure as treasurer, but hell if you asked 100 random Sand Kingdom subjects, it’s unlikely they could name the current one, let alone any past ones.

    Ironically she was the only R incumbent re-elected and only one of two R’s elected to statewide office in 2022.

      If Florida, the state government is apparently preparing to go after Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committees, I guess because they think all these require discriminating against white men, who are just smarter than everyone else.
