Happy Kansas Day, Ali. I thought the clip was very funny also. I didn’t even recognize Tracey Ullman, but I haven’t seen her since The Tracey Ullman Show (where The Simpsons started) and the 1990 movie I Love You to Death (also very funny).

The New Yorker had a profile documenting her rise to the Chancellorship. The common thread was her opponents seeing only a dumpy little Ossie hausfrau, and consistently underestimating her. Like nobody appreciated what it takes to get a doctorate in quantum chemistry (under the German system no less where one has to do two dissertations).
