War on Women

Republicans Mars Needs Women

OK, this is gross:

Look, if you are a parent of a Florida teenage athlete, you should seriously fight this. It was bad when they demanded to grope your kids junk to make sure trans girls were not competing, but this is really sick stuff. And seriously, consider who is being victimized here.

You want some creeper to know when your kid is fertile? Gee, what would some fiend —like Matt Gaetz ALLEGEDLY—  do with that info?

    Women in Nazi Germany…

    excluded from political office
    excluded from higher education
    professions besides homemaker discouraged
    makeup prohibited
procreation vital (having more than four children recognized with award)
    abortions illegal
    stillbirths require criminal investigation
sexual relations with immigrants and contractors forbidden

    Tick tock.

Each submission of required data should be accompanied with a used female sanitary product.

And what do the rest of us do with this horrific information? Because every one of these fascist moves that get normalized move us closer to the edge.

I have no children in school now but my daughter played water polo in high school on the only team they fielded, a boy’s team She played for 4 years. I would never have allowed her to play if her personal medical information had been required beyond the standard physical. She was the only girl all those years but was not treated differently from the boys. A female’s period is her own private business and this is just a ploy to try to find non conforming children to be singled out for oppression and ridicule.

I had thought there were laws protecting medical information. In any case, this is a serious violation of a person’s right to privacy at the very least.
The whole idea of some likely older GQP operative looking at records of fertility is seriously disgusting. Where are the lawyers when you need them?

Forgive my slightly conspiracy like observation, but this seems like the continuation of the collateral damage from 9/11. I remember the big push at the doctors offices to supposedly super protect our medical data and all the new ‘protections’ that were put in place. And the new need for more information it seems.

This story seems like the continuing escalation from 9/11 of an excuse to put these fascist like needs to keep an eye on everyone and especially the women.

All of this increasing “show me your papers” is deeply concerning, disturbing and dangerous. And what Florida is proposing is beyond to hell and gone, it is “hell is empty and all the devils are here.”
