K-Mac’s Political Machine Hard At Work
Tiger Beat on the Potomac (thanks Charlie!) morning email thingie shows us just how deep a thinking K-Mac isn’t:
On Tuesday, KEVIN McCARTHY officially booted Reps. ADAM SCHIFF and ERIC SWALWELL from the House Intelligence Committee. In a letter that was short on details about the two California Democrats’ sins, the new House speaker referred to “integrity,” “honesty” and “credibility” as driving his decision…
…It is no surprise that reporters immediately asked McCarthy how his expulsion of the two Democrats for alleged dishonesty squares with his hands-off approach to another well-known congressman: Rep. GEORGE SANTOS (R-N.Y.), who has lied about … well, pretty much everything … and was recently given assignments on two House committees.
Pause and reflect: K-Mac did not anticipate this obvious line of questioning when he made a statement justifying removing two Democrats claiming their dishonesty, while having just seated Spurious George. The mind, it boggles.
McCarthy for the first time laid down some specific criteria for what it would take to move against the Long Island fabulist, telling reporters that if the Ethics Committee found that Santos broke the law, “then we will remove him.”
K-Mac got boxed in by a reporter. Unbelievable.

As I said on another blog, K-Mac sold his soul to MAGA/QAnon (MAQA?) and his balls to Madge Three-Toes, all in a bid to acquire power that, because of his innate stupidity, he no longer actually has thanks to deal-making that rivals the Tangerine Tyrant for ineptitude.
