Ron DeSantis smiles… or is about to bite?
2024 Goat Rodeo candidate and whiney Floriduh gubnor Ron DeSanctimonious likes to lecture the press from grammar schools because small furniture makes him look bigger.
Anyway, the Ron explains his evil and racist agenda applies, er, well something:
James Baldwin, Laverne Cox, Angela Davis, Whitney Houston, Lori Lightfoot, Moms Mabley, Little Richard (Penniman) and Billy Preston would like to have a word.
UPDATE 1: Scissorhead Buttermilk Sky tells us that Bayard Rustin —who organized the 1963 March on Washington— should be on this list. We regret the oversight.
UPDATE 2: “and Langston Hughes and Lorraine Hansberry and Alvin Ailey and Audre Lord and Barbara Jordan and Sister Rosetta Tharpe . . .” – Barry Mauer.
UPDATE 3: Pauli Murray – Quaker in the Basement
UPDATE 4: Matthew Henson – who navigated Peary toward the North Pole – Punctuated_Equilibrium
So actual US history involving gays is off limits, is it Cracker Orban?
(which I nominate as a nickname for him, I think it is most fitting.)

Not to forget Bayard Rustin, who organized the 1963 March on Washington. He’s been largely written out of civil rights history. DeSadist just wants to finish the job.

Here’s another that will blow your mind: Pauli Murray. There’s a great documentary about her on Amazon Prime: https://www.amazon.com/My-Name-Pauli-Murray/dp/B09DMPMWCP

I have to wonder if there was anything about Rosewood in that course.

Or at least about Tulsa.
