Ruben Gallego has announced he’s in the race to be the Terrible Sand Kingdom of Arizonastan’s next Democratic Senator and Sen. Joe Manchin III said Sunday he will support the reelection of Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, Arizona independent, over any Democratic challenger.
Thanks, Joe, for putting yourself on the ballot, because the only thing I can think of that could get out the Gallego vote more than Sinema herself would be for you to campaign for her.
We don’t know what Sinema is planning to do (Fox News contract would be my guess), but we can be sure that Kari Lake and Blake Masters are likely to run in the crazy lane.
Seems like a good guy and is also a former Marine who served in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. If I could vote for him I would…

I guess it’s a good thing those 2 don’t know what I think of them. I’d love to share my disgust with them, but I think it would go over their head.

She is pretty low.
I mean, look at that outfit! Orange and pink? She hasn’t even demonstrated either the self-awareness or self-deprecating humor to pull off a “Just trying out my future jumpsuit colors” defense.

I think Sinema planned this all along. She campaigns as a liberal Democrat, then in office she sucks up to republicans, doing favors and making contacts with big corporate donors. Then when 2024 gets nigh, she’ll back out of the race, saying “politics is too toxic.” Once out of office, she’ll get nice seats on corporate boards, and a sweet, lucrative gig on Fox where she’ll whine “I didn’t leave the Democrat Party, the Democrats left me.” Voila, set up for life.
