I used to have a cat like that. He just went nutzo every time the nip came out, and would use his claws to get his way. He’s been gone for nearly twenty years now, but in his day he was relentless…

One of my neighbors thought that there were planting catmint, but in fact planted catnip. They wondered why all the neighborhood cats were hanging out in their back yard, some peacefully stoned, others aggressively defending their turf. It was like a feline crackhouse out there.

I’ve never been able to grow catnip outdoors because it never gets taller than an inch or two before it gets completely flattened/consumed by neighborhood wanderers. And I’ve never been able to grow it indoors because I’ve always had my house cats.

I haven’t laughed harder in eons. Yes, a cat determined will not be deterred or waylaid from its task. Come teeth, claws or high water, in the dark of night…teeth and claws sharpened to the sharpest of edges and finest of points, a surgeons scalpel ain’t got nutin’ on em’, in the darkest of other nights by Feline Zen Craftscats. By the light of the silvery moon, also. What were we talking about? No, I’m not one of those Catnipers. Why do you ask.

I do spend too much time alone these days. Why do you ask?
