Saw it last night – it’s great comedy.
I saw the pics. I don’t see what they’re saying I should see (although Mrs. Pillow does). My first thought on looking at the sculpture was “Nuclear Energy”, in the University of Chicago campus at the exact spot where the first chain reaction occurred. The Boston sculpture, like the U of C onr, is understated, sad and touching at the same time.

I look at the mouths that were originally pushing this, and I know they jumped at the opportunity to say “Martin Luther King” and “penis” in the same sentence.
The King sculpture will outlast this bullshit.

Sorry, I’m White, I wept when MLK was gunned down, but that statue looks like two spiders f…king. I don’t care how anyone tries to spin it. It’s horrible and is never going to become beloved.
