Mighty Mouse Squeaks!

H/T Scissorhead Dennis Cole

Perpetually un-jacketed wrestling coach Gym Jordan  was on Fox News opining over the weekend. This moment totally escaped me because ¡GASP! I do NOT watch Fox News:

I think the rebuttal from Elie Mystal is pretty much spot-on:

It seems that with his great understanding of US History and whatnot, Gym Jordan is destined to become the Chair of the Judiciary Committee, and that’s both terrifying and funny that he —of all the bomb-throwing misfits— will be leading the investigation of Weaponization of the Federal Government, which is something of which he is totally in favor of doing. From interfering in the DOJ’s investigation of Trump to Benghazing private citizen Hunter Biden, I cannot think of anyone more likely to weaponize the government for political purposes.

The Atlantic:

The new House Judiciary chair, Jim Jordan, will lead the committee on ‘weaponization,’ virtually guaranteeing that its hearings will turn into a festival of prancing nonsense that is unlikely to do very much but enhance Jordan’s visibility while he tears into U.S. intelligence and law-enforcement agencies at the expense of American national security.

This is a serious moment and so Jordan might even put on a jacket. You never know.

The Democrats should attend hearings dressed as their favorite professional wrestlers.

Middle school (we called it junior high) taught me more about American history and government than this pervy wrestling coach will ever know.

Obviously Congress is going to install only the best wrestling mats. WWE should probably be worried.
