Yep they snatch ’em out of people yards around here.
We had a pair hanging out in the utility access in my neighborhood. Fortunately my dogs are about as large as they are and don’t get messed with.
We have at least three separate entirely urban populations here in town.
Two are in quite the tony neighborhoods too; they have good taste! I have ofter encountered them on my bike ride into work in the morning.
