Dude, if you were clairvoyant, you would have seen the FBI coming for the documents you had strewn all over Mar a Lardo….

And yet he’s still the official leader of the Republican Party.

I was intrigued by that term, clairvoyant, as well. Also “Trump”? Why is he in quotes there? (rhetorical question)

Well I think it’s his way od distinguishing the real him (a pathetic, insecure tub of lard with no redeeming values whatsoever) with the character he plays everywhere else.

Whenever he refers to himself in the 3rd person, I do wonder if he’s having a dis-associative moment. But he’s nuts all the time.

I was reading another thread on Wonkette and someone poited out it’s much much simpler: he’s using Greengrocer’s quotes.
I don’t know why I didn’t see it before; Mrs BDR used to work for somone who used them all the time and it drove her bugnuts. (She was a grammar nazi long before Liz Truss popularized the term. )
The odd ‘third person’ usage is still his way of referring to the chracter he plays because the real him is such a pathologically insecure narcissist.

POS knows that, whatever he says, his brainless minions will swear upon a holy-bible their mindless belief of the uttered lies, even when they know he’s lying.

Maybe he’ll come out with MAGA brand kool-aide, and we’ll finally be done with them.

Merry Christmas to you too you traitorous son of a bitch.

Oh, come on!
I saw this elsewhere, but didn’t share because I was pretty sure someone made it up and I wasn’t about to spend ten minutes trying to track down the source.
What Poe made up that law, anyway? This would have even him spinning in his, er, Grave? Is he dead? Or alive, and spinning in his office chair.
Eff it, not tracking down the status of that Poe either.
…
Imma just say Merry Christmas to all, why not? For tomorrow is soon enough for the cards to fall where they may.

Actually, about ten seconds at dictionary.com, in between “plumber’s crack” and “pogue” [which when plural. is one of my favorite bands, who have a song appropriate for the day.]

Okay, so what does he have to say about this, it turns out, series of tweets?

MDavis; not sure what you mean. Poe or Shane McGowan have to say? BTW, at 2:24, you can see that the video was made after Shane had a lot of dental work done. Never [more] heard of Poe before, except the West Pointer from Boston, Richmond, and Baltimore.

It has been quite a year for Poe, with all the crazy stuff going on. Poe’s Law has, long since I believe, been repurposed to include a lot of different groups, not just Creationists. (and a new corollary has come out – the Onion has their work cut out for them, finding some satire to post that hasn’t already been posted in apparent seriousness)
So, Kari Lake imitators? Apply Poe’s Law and throw in an emoji if you don’t want to be taken as a true-believer and supporter.
Flat Earther mocker? Good luck getting your stuff taken as satire unless you have a way of identifying it.
MTG? She’s taking advantage of the climate to pass off every stupid thing she says as a joke. Eff her, Poe’s Law does not apply to her. Only applies to someone pretending to be MTG. And, seriously, who would want to pretend to be her? (just kidding – she’d be easy but you really have to make the flag clear)

just note: dec. 26th is national whiners day. who knew he had his own day?!

I thought it was Boxing Day.
Maybe we can give the whiners a box of rocks. Or box their ears.

it’s both, check national day calendar. the box of rocks is a good idea as long as it’s delivered with a strong throw.

We could pack them in a box and send them away.
