“Thanks Krysten!”
The big news is that Sen. Krysten Sinema has jumped from the Democratic Party to being an independent and that means… Joe Manchin is back to being the king maker in the Senate.
Anyway, here’s Sinema’s announcement:
Shorter version: “It’s all about me, Me, ME!”
Of course this means that Rep. Ruben Gallego’s primary challenge to Sinema is now a straight-forward run for the Democratic nomination, but it also means that Sinema will be a spoiler in the general election, and it will benefit whoever is the Republican candidate. It’s like a dead-man switch. I bet Kari Lake is already on it.
I’m looking forward to hearing from some of our Scissorheads currently residing in The Terrible Sand Kingdom of Arizonastan. I’m actually not sure this changes much of anything on the sand: if the Terrible Sand People already hated her, they probably hate her more.
I’m so sick of these attention hogs and my lack of surprise about their bad behavior. Way to not have any principles, assholes.

Attention hog? She’s on someone’s payroll
Allegedly.
It might help also explain why she was so lightweight in her money hustling.

A hideous narcissist is the kindest thing I can say about her. First, last and always, it’s all about her.

I am almost speechless, yet I have this eerie flashback to Wash in Firefly:
So now we are saddled with Coal Joe Lieberman, and Kyrsten Manic Pixie Nightmare Lieberman in the Senate.
Who needs Republicans when we have them to shiv us in the back?

An independent who caucuses with republicans, right?

The AZ Central article says she’ll caucus with the Dems, so no power-sharing agreement is needed with Yertle. Nothing was mentioned about a power-sharing agreement with Curtsey 😦
