When I called it quits last night, Georgia was still counting the roughly 200,000 mail-in ballots. With Sen. Warnock ahead by more than 90,000 votes, there isn’t any chance that a Walker will take three-quarters of the mail-in ballots.
Senator Warnock has won 5 races in two years, and that is pretty much the compelling through-line of his (so far short) career. Don’t misunderestimate him, he’s going to be a force in Democratic politics.
The other through-line of this election is that Hair Füror is the biggest loser. I don’t think any of his chosen MAGA Senate candidates won in 2022.

So in short sanity prevailed. Maybe I should say this time, recognizing that there are a lot of nut jobs out there…
