“Noooooooo!”
Trump Organization convicted in N.Y. criminal tax fraud trial
NEW YORK — Former president Donald Trump’s namesake company was convicted of tax crimes committed by two of its longtime executives after a Manhattan trial that gave jurors a peek at some of the inner workings of the Trump Organization’s finances.
The real estate, hospitality and golf resort operation headquartered at Trump Tower on Fifth Ave. faces the possibility of a $1.6 million fine. New York Supreme Court jurors began their deliberations mid-day on Monday.
The company was charged with scheme to defraud, conspiracy, criminal tax fraud and falsifying business records.
The WaPo really buries the lede: they were found guilty on all 17 counts. The $1.6M Amero fine is chump change for these grifters, what’s more important is the humiliation.
Well maybe he can get North Korea to pay his fine. On the other hand, it looks like the indictments will be raining down with a vengeance. Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy…

Raise a glass in honor of Letitia James. Maybe this will help Alvin Bragg awaken from his slumbers.

$1.6 million? That’s it, after all this build-up? Sorry, but BFD.

Sometimes a pebble starts the avalanche.
And the aura of Trump invincibility in court is gone. You will never be able to seat a jury that doesn’t know that. Yeah, it’s a BFD.

Those of us from the cheap seats were in the hoop-hopes that this would have ended with a perp walk down 5th avenue for that “can’t walk down a small ramp without help” fat-.fooker. Well, maybe as Jimmy T noted above it “…will lead to indictments raining down with a vengeance.” on that malevolent clown.
