Criminal super-‘geniuses’ Jacob Wohland Jack Burkman were ordered by Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Judge John Sutula to spend 500 hours registering voters in low-income neighborhoods throughout Washington, D.C. for their racist and election disinformation robocalls. Wohl and Burkman were also fined $2,500, ordered to wear GPS ankle monitors, and confined to their homes after 8pm for the next six months.
Conservative operatives Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman were sentenced to working 500 hours at a voter registration drive on Tuesday for sending out thousands of robocalls with false information in the lead-up to the 2020 presidential election.
Here’s the script from their robocalls:
“Hi, this is Tamika Taylor from Project 1599, the civil rights organization founded by Jack Burkman and Jacob Wohl. Mail-in voting sounds great, but did you know that if you vote by mail, your personal information will be part of a public database that will be used by police departments to track down old warrants and be used by credit card companies to collect outstanding debts?” the script allegedly read.
Let the punishment fit the crime.
I’ll wager 1001 quatloos that these sooper-jeniuses try to include some of their ratfucking patter into this. Hope they’re being supervised closely!

Here’s hoping that when they get caught trying to sabotage voter registration their sentences commute to jail time.
If Florida voters can be tossed in jail for voting illegally when they were told (and did they even ask first?) they folks who pull this kind of thing, threatening dozens, if not hundreds, of votes should receive punishment commensurate with the crime.
Not that they will, but they should.

That’s all fine, but I was hoping Fascist Rowan & Martin would be doing their act at one of our fine penal institutions.

At least they got caught. The robocall(er)s we got in KS telling people to vote Yes to protect choice back in August have disappeared into the sunset, just waiting for their next gig., when surely our new AG Kris Kobach will send them to prison.

“500 hours” is that each, or together? Each I hope.
