I read the news today, oh boy.
Georgeduh Senator wannabe Herschel Walker is unbelievably bad at this campaigning stuff:
“Everyone asks me, why did I decide to run for a Senate seat? Because to be honest with you, this is never something I ever, ever, ever thought in my life I’d ever do,” said Walker. “And that’s the honest truth. As I was sitting in my home in Texas, I was sitting in my home in Texas, and I was seeing what was going on in this country. I was seeing what was going on in this country with how they were trying to divide people.”
Gonna go out on a limb here, but I bet ‘carpetbagger’ is not a popular description in The South.
Only Democrats are carpetbaggers. When RFK ran for the Senate in NY it was all we heard. When James Buckley came in from Connecticut to serve out his term, not a word.
Yes, I’m that old.

They said the same thing about Hillary when she ran for Senate.

So walker is a Texan. He talks big enough to be that’s for sure. But I must ask why and for what reason is he running in Georgia? He doesn’t seem to live there. Is nobody in charge of verifying stuff like his residence?

WALKERS FOR WARNOCK ANNOUNCES ATLANTA EVENTS
For Warnock, a newly formed organization of potential step brothers and sisters who know or suspect that Herschel Walker is their biological father, has announced plans to support Raphael Warnock in the runoff election for the Georgia Senate seat. The Atlanta based group announced it will hold “Walks For Warnock” each Saturday until the election.
The rapidly expanding group plans to walk 2.4 miles from the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church, where both MLK and Warnock preached, to Planned Parenthood’s East Atlanta Health Center, one of several locations patronized by women impregnated by Walker, the former football star and GOP candidate.
A spokesperson for Walkers For Warnock says their goal is to rally support for Warnock and abortion rights, but at the same time, “it’s an opportunity to celebrate our lives, bond with our newly discovered step siblings, and pay tribute to those that might have been.”
Walkers For Warnock has step brother/sister affiliates in Dallas, Minneapolis, New York, and Philadelphia, cities where Walker lived during his football career. Each has plans to announce their own Walk For Warnock event. The sheer number of members in those areas exceeds those in Georgia, but they cannot vote in the election. However, they are eager to raise funds for the reelection of the Democratic candidate, Raphael Warnock.
Facing accusations from the Walker campaign that Walkers For Warnock members are simply angling to reclaim unpaid child support, a Dallas-based member shrugged it off.
“That’s ridiculous. He don’t have enough money. There are too many of us. Like I’m gonna spend my weekends walking across town for what, like $8? He run off on us. Now, we’re gonna run off on him.”

So as he was sitting in his home in Texas, he was seeing what was going on in this country with how they were trying to divide people so he decided to run for Senate in GA. Unquestionable logic there my friend.

Some CT. Georgia far right machine puts up Walker for Senate in an attempt to lure enough Black vote to secure the seat. Knowing full well Walker will be deposed AFTER the election for fraud (not a Georgia resident), the governor appoints someone with an IQ greater than Walker’s number of secret paid abortions. Too far?

Not too far, it could happen. I doubt that they actually planned it, but it might be the end game.
