Two More Years of Domestic Tuckerism, er, Terrorism

The Senate does not have the votes to break the Republican filibuster on banning assault rifles:

“Probably not,” Murphy told CNN “State of the Union” co-anchor Dana Bash when asked if the proposal could garner 60 votes.

“But let’s see if we can try to get that number as close to 60 as possible,” Murphy continued. “If we don’t have the votes, then we’ll talk to Senator Schumer and maybe come back next year with maybe an additional senator and see if we can do better.”

Except that the House will be under GOP control and so that will go nowhere. I’ll give them this: GOP Senators stay bought. The NRA wins again.

So we have at least two more years of mass slaughter and domestic Tuckerism to look forward to.

Per our 2nd Amendment, every American has the Right to be shot while going about their business while every Republican meeps out a vague ‘just shut up’ because jeebus.

  2. Trick question. Their anti-social behaviour renders them incapable of actual love.

Please note; this serious statement is not meant to de-humanize, it is meant to help understand the intentional damage being done by Fox News, et al.
