Big snail or small knight?
…as you once again prepare for the yearly battle to rid your garden of the cursed mollusk, but we would be remiss if we did not alert you that our pal Burr Deming has posted his best-of-the-web links complete with wry commentary at the essential blog Fair and Unbalanced.
As we all know, Burr has been dealing with a family issue for most of November, so the snail wins again this year as we head over to Fair and Unbalanced. We are glad to have him back (Burr, not the gastropod), and what a thanksgiving (truly) that he has had.
We will of course keep this post on top and fresher posts —if any!— will be below.
Mock Paper Scissors 
Every time I see one of those weird illuminations, it brings me back to the inescapable conclusion that medieval monks doing the illuminations were high as kites.
