Republicans have their priorities for the next Congress: Hunter Biden, Hunter Biden’s Laptop, and have we mentioned that Hunter Biden is Joe Biden’s son?
What is conspicuously missing are the stolen documents recovered at Merde-a-Lardo:
The top House Republican slated to take over the chamber’s investigation into classified documents found at the former president’s Florida estate said it “will not be a priority” in the new Congress…
“That will not be a priority,” [Rep. Jim Comer of Kentucky, likely the next chairman of the House Oversight Committee] added, noting that his team has requested information on the status of the House investigation.
But not to worry, even he has a Hunter Biden investigation planned:
On November 9 – the day after the midterm elections – Comer told CNN he is going to resend a letter to the Treasury Department demanding the agency hand over any suspicious bank activity reports linked to Hunter Biden.
A previous request was rebuffed, but Comer said the department may be more inclined to cooperate now that Republicans are going to be in charge of the House, meaning the GOP will have newfound subpoena power.
It’s not like Lord Damp Nut’s son-in-law shaking down Crown Prince Bone Saw for $2B Ameros to cover up the murder of a WaPo reporter and subsequent dismemberment and burnt offerings. Nothing to see there.

I understand this is how the Rethugs operate, but what a waste of time this is going to be. They have a dozen ways to prosecute their hero the orange slug turd, but Noooo, they are going after Hunter Biden. What a giant waste of time and resources, but if it would keep them from passing bad laws it might be worth it. Unfortunately, nothing stops them from passing bad laws.
