Ayatollah Ted Cruz (R- Texas, America’s Lab for Bad Policy) say’s he’s running for re-election in 2024, but you know, might run in the 2024 Goat Rodeo, because we’ve been bad and must be punished:
“I’m fighting in the Senate. I’m running for re-election in the Senate. I’m focused on the battles in the United States Senate,” the conservative firebrand senator from Texassaid as he answered a question from Fox News on whether he would run for president or re-election in 2024.
But Cruz, in a follow-up question, did not rule out a presidential run. Asked if he should not be considered a potential White House contender anymore, Cruz answered “I’m focused on the fight. … There will be plenty of time to discuss 2024 presidential, they’ll be plenty of time for that.”
Ted was at at the Republican Jewish Coalition’s annual leadership conference in Las Vegas, where many of the (other?) 2024 Goat Rodeo contenders were meeting with big donors, so you see, the denial is more about not starting FEC reporting.
