If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again:

A Republican political strategist was convicted of illegally helping a Russian businessman contribute to Donald Trump’s campaign in 2016.

Jesse Benton, 44, was pardoned by Trump in 2020 for a different campaign finance crime, months before he was indicted again on six counts related to facilitating an illegal foreign campaign donation. He was found guilty Thursday on all six counts.

Convicted again, and only two (2!) years since his pardon. Dude is an over-achiever.

So I guess Russia! Russia! Russia! wasn’t a hoax, now was it?

    There were too many whimperings of innocence. It had to be accurate. Now, if we could just indict the Orange Slug Turd for that or something out of the many choices available we might have a country again. My personal fear is that since he is “running” (I wish he were), there will be hell to pay if and when he is finally indicted.
