I deeply wish I lived in that world. Unfortunately, there will be no consequences. If, by chance, some modicum of justice is served, Republicans are well prepared and experienced at laughing it off, and going on their merry way.
People wagged their fingers at Al Franken and he (quite correctly) resigned in disgrace. When Republicans shit on the constitution, they’re lauded for finally not “making in their pants”.
Prepare for many years of MTG on every committee of substance.
