Rudderless Republicans, Part Infinity

GAH! IT’S BEHIND YOU!!!

The GOP Has Two Daddies… and they are fighting:

“We [made] it difficult for our candidates,” the senator said. “We can’t do that.”

Scott said Republicans were also not clear on what the party stood for headed into Election Day.

Translated from Senate weasel-speak, he’s dropping a house on amply be-chinned Mitch McConnell:

“What do we stand for? What are we hell-bent to get done?” Scott asked. “The leadership in the Republican Senate says, ‘No, you cannot have a plan. We’re just going to run against how bad the Democrats are.’ And, actually, then they cave into the Democrats.”

Rick Scott wants Mitch’s job:

Senator Rick Scott of Florida was poised to challenge McConnell, Republicans briefed on his plans told me, until he decided against a bid Wednesday morning, when it became clear Republicans may not capture the majority and there was to be a Senate runoff in Georgia.

Scott had cut an announcement video declaring his intentions, word had reached some prominent conservatives outside the Senate and a handful of GOP senators had gotten wind of his plan and started calculating just how many votes his longshot campaign could accrue at the leadership vote next week in the Capitol.

Of course given the Turtle’s advanced years, he probably will never have another shot at the gavel.  Heh.

I love it when a plan comes together.

He’s already done enough damage to the Nation to last a lifetime.

I know we all hate Turkey Waddle McConnell but substitute Bat Boy for him? I am not sure if that is a trade-up or down. Batt Boy has evil ambitions, old Mitch seems to have outlived his actual ambitions and settled in to just pure obstruction. I think his obstructionism is easier to deal with than someone pushing a platform of evil. You can call me wrong and that’s OK, but I don’t want to give Bat Boy any air.

Shouldn’t they wait to see if Hershel is elected before they go electing leaders? After all Hershel is some Grade A Prime republican leadership material is he not?
