Libertarian Senate candidate Marc Victor announced his withdrawal from the Arizona US Senate race, and gave his
deep, er, full-throated endorsement of Fascist Republican (redundant?) candidate Blake Masters.
“We found ourselves in general agreement about how to improve America and to advance the cause of freedom and peace. After that discussion, I believe it is in the best interests of freedom and peace to withdraw my candidacy and enthusiastically support Blake Masters for United States Senate. I intend to assist in any way reasonably possible to elect Blake.”
I’m here to assure you that people who were going to support Victor’s platform of guns everywhere and child brides were probably never going to support Sen. Kelly, so nothing much has changed.
The ballots are already printed, and early voting has been underway in the Terrible Sand Kingdom of Arizonastan, so it’s likely that Victor is still going to be a vote splitter. And if you still are worried, well, to the degree that we believe in the polling, Victor on a good day was getting 1—2%.
Nothing to see here, really. It sounds bigger than it is.
