Newsmax bans Lara Logan after QAnon-style rant, condemns her words in ‘the strongest terms’
It takes a lot, I’m guessing, to be banned from Newsmax. So what did she say?
The right-wing channel Newsmax has banned Lara Logan from its air after she went on a QAnon-style rant during an appearance on the network this week.
In a bizarre interview, Logan told host Eric Bolling that “the open border is Satan’s way of taking control of the world,” and later added that the world’s elites “want us eating insects [and] cockroaches” while they “dine on the blood of children.”
Logan’s fall from CBS’ 60 Minutes is complete. I hope she seeks help and gets it, because this is just too sad for words.

I know people who think like this. I sure as hell don’t converse with them anymore. Some emotional corner of their brain has been activated, and it’s louder than anything else in their empty heads. I think it is a form of mental illness, but it could have been an output of their groupthink. Untreated mental illness is at epidemic proportions in our land and the worst offenders insist they are sane and usually claim to be Christians. This poor woman seems to have received incomplete instructions or took what little she knows as the whole truth. She needs education, I say. And medication also.

Not sure if there is a difference between mental illness and a commited or a not yet commited loony Tunes fan (apologies to Warner Brothers). Yeah, I’ve known a few too, and like you I haven’t spoken to any of them in years. But I disagree when you say education and medication are needed. Medication will provide some relief to her and her loved ones (if any), but she is too far gone for education to make a difference…

As someone who has bipolar 1, & who knows plenty of people with other kinds of mental illnesses, I can attest that there is a HUGE difference between mental illness & being a committed “loony Tunes fan” on the level of a Lara Logan & I get really tired of people who are not politically on “your” side being smeared as “mentally ill” or needing medication or put in an institution or some other stupid idea. These people are not mentally ill. They’re class-A jerks.

According to Wikipedia, Logan was the victim of a horrific sexual assault while covering the Egyptian revolution in 201 1. Her breakdown seems to stem from this event. The bottom-feeders at Newsmax should not have interviewed her to begin with.
