    We live in some amazing times. Risen from apes and now pondering the universe. I’m hoping our scientists can and will open the doors to a better understanding of the workings of our world, even when some of the people are Trumpers as well as ignorant Christian Nationalists. I’ve found myself enjoying the amazing journey we (the sane people) have travelled on…

    Some of the clarity comes from the gob-smacking resolution of the JWST (just LOOK at how many stars are in EVERY JWST image! ), some of it is just the difference between the visible light images of Hubble and the infrared images of the JWST, which ‘see through’ a lot of stuff in the visible spectrum.

    Regardless. the JWST is turning out to be a hugely successful mission.
