Utah, A Land of Contrasts…

Utah’s recent search history

Election-denying, unindicted co-conpsirator and Utah’s Senator Mike Lee (R – did you really need to have this spelled out for you) had a nutty: he wrote an opinion piece about himself, in which he referred to himself though out not as “me” or “I” but as “Mike Lee.”

Bob Dole Lives! (but I digest…)

It was so laughable bad that the Salt Lake Tribune eventually removed Mike Lee’s byline from it, but the problem then becomes that it looks like an editorial endorsement. But of course, that might have been the plan all along.

Very tricky!

  1. Hey, he’s just aping his Dear Leader who always refers to himself in the third person. It’s a secret privilege that Queen Elizabeth granted to Mango Mussolini when she super-knighted him, making him an extra special kannigit whose powers include making big strong men cry and call him sir.

Lee is just trying to capture some of that magic for himself.

Or of course, the editorial board fucked up in the first place, and it was always supposed to look like an Editorial Board op-ed, because why even try to be objective…
