The Morning Quote

Lord Damp Nut is not a monster, he’s just ahead of the curve.

Georgia Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan (R) on Herschel Walker’s (R) Senate candidacy.

We didn’t ask who was the best leader. We didn’t ask who had the best resume. Unfortunately, Republicans looked around to see who Trump supported and he was a famous football player and so he became our nominee and now we’re paying the price.

Donald Trump led us down a rabbit trail post-election because he was too consumed with trying to save face from losing his election. And he ran us down a trail and we screwed up.

More sour grapes. You got to dance with who brung you to the dance. What I cannot understand is how this clod, Walker is only a few points behind Dr. Warnock. They really are desperate to elect any old dead horse with an R in its name. This one is even decomposing during the race.

This is so true. The R voting public here in GA will show up and vote for the R regardless of suitability or ability. They totally showed this in the 2020 election- the fact that Biden won GA by less than 12,000 votes AFTER all TFG did is proof that all they care about is winning. Not governing. The D’s better get their asses out and vote- because that is the only way Warnock can win. If they could actually elect Warnock and Abrams- GA might work it’s way out of shithole territory.

What a price they will pay! Georgia might have to keep a competent Senator.

That would be nice. Speaking as someone who has lived in GA for 18 years. Seriously- the hubby and I are working on our exit strategy.
