Judge Cannon Didn’t Take The Graceful Off-Ramp

H/T Scissorhead Skinny-D

Guys, you might have heard by now that Lord Damp Nut’s hand selected Judge “Come-on Aileen” Loose Cannon has ruled in favor of, well, everything he ever wanted:

In a 10-page decision, Judge Cannon, of the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Florida, declined to lift any part of an injunction she issued last week that barred the department from using any of those documents, including about 100 marked as classified, for investigative purposes until the special master had completed a review.

Cannon said that she would not modify her previous order, and that the classified documents would be subjected to special master review; she implied that notable liar Hair Füror might be right and the government is the actual liar and that the classified documents are not actually classified.

Now the good news —such as it is— is that former chief federal Judge Raymond Dearie will sort through the more than 11,000 documents that Hair Füror (ALLEGEDLY/DEFINITELY) stole to see if any should be shielded from criminal investigators because of attorney-client or executive privileges.

Wild-eyed speculation:

  1. Dearie will probably run through the classified documents first and —Jeebus take the wheel— that will clear-up that relatively fast. I cannot imagine that he will buy the BS argument that government property can belong to any ex-prznint, or that an ex-prznint has any existing executive privilege that could possibly supersede the current president.
  2. Because of Speculation #1, the DOJ will not appeal this to the 11th Circuit where it will no doubt linger and maybe draw a panel of Trump appointees.
  3. At some point, serious effort will be put into removing Cannon from the bench. #ETTTD.

At some point, all of the unqualified, right wing nut judges pushed into office by Moscow Mitch and tfg will all need to be investigated but I have little hope we can get rid of any of them. I mean, shit, we still have Uncle (Clarence) Tom and his insurrectionist wife in SCOTUS with no end in sight.

DOJ should appeal this grotesque horseshit to the 11th Circuit, regardless of its composition. It is so far beyond judicial competence that I feel she should be removed from the bench. I suggest this charge: a violation of the Federal Judicial Code of Conduct, https://www.uscourts.gov/judges-judgeships/code-conduct-united-states-judges#d.

Canon 3: A Judge Should Perform the Duties of the Office Fairly, Impartially and Diligently

The duties of judicial office take precedence over all other activities. The judge should perform those duties with respect for others, and should not engage in behavior that is harassing, abusive, prejudiced, or biased. The judge should adhere to the following standards:

    (A) Adjudicative Responsibilities.

    (1) A judge should be faithful to, and maintain professional competence in, the law and should not be swayed by partisan interests, public clamor, or fear of criticism. [My emphasis.]

Her orders really do breach the above standard. She is a menace to the rule of law in this country.

That $5 represents a significant discount!

Indeed. I’m guessing her appoinment cost Ginni more than $5.
I’ll admit: I get confused by the exchange-rates. Dollars, Ameros, Quatloos, Dogecoin.
(If you can’t trust a guy who’s willing to take a large amount of money to pretend to eat yams grown from his own excrement, … am I right?)
