Guess Who’s Squawking!

Lucky #4 Mark Meadows

Lucky #4 Chief of Staff in the 4th Reich, Mark Meadows, reportedly has complied with the Department of Justice and has turned over evidence as requested regarding The Stupid Coup:

(CNN)Former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows has complied with a subpoena from the Justice Department’s investigation into events surrounding January 6, 2021, sources familiar with the matter tell CNN, making him the highest-ranking Trump official known to have responded to a subpoena in the federal investigation.

Meadows turned over the same materials he provided to the House select committee investigating the US Capitol attack, one source said, meeting the obligations of the Justice Department subpoena, which has not been previously reported.

Last year, Meadows turned over thousands of text messages and emails to the House committee, before he stopped cooperating. The texts he handed over between Election Day 2020 and Joe Biden’s inauguration, which CNN previously obtained, provided a window into his dealings at the White House, though he withheld hundreds of messages, citing executive privilege.

Meadows is not a wealthy man and cannot afford (or probably even find) legal representation of the caliber he is going to need, so cooperating is probably his best move. Let’s see how cooperative he becomes as he watches what happens to his colleagues who were inside the bunker in the final days of the 4th Reich.

Those 40 subpoenas from the other day are raining down of them all, and I expect we will read a lot of revelations soon (depending on how the pending election moratorium keeps news from dripping).

Yeah. You know, it’s occurred to me since the first J6 congressional hearing that these lawyers knew how much trouble everyone was going to be in-how could they not? Seems as if they’d have lined up representation much earlier that Jan. 6.
Unless the only capable representation needs their own representation, I guess…
