Area Contortionist In Difficult Position

“And my fifth point…”

The dumbest man in the Senate (and that’s quite a low bar) RoJo tells us that his convictions and beliefs are, uh, subject to change:

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) has changed his stance on federal legislation that would codify the right to same-sex marriage, telling voters he would not support the Respect for Marriage Act “in its current state.” His remarks come about two months after he issued a statement that said he saw “no reason to oppose” the bill, which would require that someone be considered married in any state as long as the marriage was valid in the state where it was performed.

Speaking last week to a group of conservative voters in Wisconsin, Johnson told an audience member that he issued his July statement only “to get [the media] off my back” about the issue, according to audio obtained by Heartland Signal.

More of his rock-solid beliefs subject to change:

“All the Democrats can do is lie about me,” said the testy senator. “The most outrageous lie they’re telling about me right now is that I want to cut or end Social Security … what elected official would ever want to cut Social Security? It is absurd on its face. I want to save Social Security.”

Also RoJo:

Johnson, a devoted Trump ally who is trailing in the polls in the upcoming midterms, last month proposed that funding for Social Security (and Medicare) be decided year by year as part of “discretionary” spending programs. That would subject funding to a potentially fierce partisan political battle annually, jeopardizing a predictable income for some 69 million Americans — most of whom have paid into the program their entire working lives.

I’m sure before the day is over, he’ll have brand new, long-held, rock-solid convictions.

Until tomorrow.

There are different kinds of poverty. Ronnie’s poverty is of the mind. He needs a different job. After all he does appear to be acting like a disgruntled employee. So we, the citizens and also his boss, need to help him find a new job by firing him on his next job appraisal in November.

He really does need our help in giving him a chance to find his real job in life. Congress really isn’t the job for him.
