“Your reputation is amazing. I will not let you down.” — Lord Damp Nut to Alex Jones

The other day, we noted that Alex Jones’ attorneys did an oopsie and sent the opposition the full contents of his phone, a 2-year treasure trove of incriminating evidence, and did no redactions, never asked for it back, nothing within the statutory limitations and so the contents is now in evidence and there is nothing Jones can do about it.

Except pray.

The attorney for the Sandy Hook families has said he intends to turn over the contents to the DOJ and the J6C who have asked to have a peek at it:

The attorney representing two Sandy Hook parents in the Alex Jones defamation case said Thursday that numerous federal and state investigators, including the House panel investigating the January 6, 2021, insurrection, have asked him to hand over text records mistakenly sent to him by the right-wing conspiracy theorist’s law firm.

“I am under request from various federal agencies and law enforcement to provide (the records),” Mark Bankston, the plaintiffs’ attorney, told Judge Maya Guerra Gamble. “Absent a ruling from you saying you cannot do that … I intend to do so immediately following this hearing.”

“I believe that there is absolutely nothing, nothing, that Mr. Reynal has done to fulfill his obligations to protect his client and prevent me from doing that,” he said, referring to Jones’ attorney, Andino Reynal.

You see, Jones was a central player at the January 6 insurrection, he was physically present at the rally before the riot, and in fact addressed the rioters; one could argue that his audience was the rioters. Jones testified before the January 6 committee earlier this year, but pleaded the Fifth repeatedly during the interview. It looks like the J6C is going to get his missing testimony, anyway.
