News That Will Drive You To Drink

Happy Hour News

Guys, this cannot be good news:

(CNN)The Defense Department wiped the phones of top departing DOD and Army officials at the end of the Trump administration, deleting any texts from key witnesses to events surrounding the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol, according to court filings.

The acknowledgment that the phones from the Pentagon officials had been wiped was first revealed in a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit American Oversight brought against the Defense Department and the Army. The watchdog group is seeking January 6 records from former acting Secretary of Defense Chris Miller, former chief of staff Kash Patel, and former Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy, among other prominent Pentagon officials — having filed initial FOIA requests just a few days after the Capitol attack.

That it was an actual Stupid Coup is increasingly likely, and the coverup is looking more real. At some point, the possibility of coinkydinks is too great to be anything but a conspiracy. We got some actual treason now, no hyperbole, probably.

I cannot believe the military were likely in on it. That was always my my firewall: they would put a stop to the nonsense. We really nearly lost it all.

I’m more than somewhat discouraged by this news. I saw it earlier in a headline on my phone, but didn’t read it until now.

What? You didn’t realize that it was an actual Stupid Coup?
When they tell you who they are believe them.
When their fixer comes forward and tells you that they are worse than they will ever let you know and hide that by playing games right out of The Devil’s Advocate, believe that too.
C’mon, old wazzizname – Cohen? He laid it out, warned us that tfg would try to stay in power. Told us that his method was to do it all his nefarious deeds second hand and hands off by telling people how much easier or better things would be if they would just do what he wanted. Just a suggestion. Right? But viscous to those who didn’t (don’t) take his hints as orders.
He really did choose all the best people – for a certain value of best people, not one that TV Elliot Ness would approve of, but I bet Al Capone would be shaking tfg’s hand.
Am I the only cynic here now 9K’ is out? smh

Destruction of any govt data should be a serious felony. There ought to be grounds to indict anyone in DoD who ordered this, ditto, DHS, the SS (such an appropriate acronym!), etc. There’s no way this wasn’t part of a planned coverup.

I would really like to know what role Flynn’s brother, a senior Army General himself, played in the events of 1/6.

They really just could not care any less. I hate seeing dum-dum get away with all this. I too wonder about BOTH Flynn’s roles in this.
