Midday Palate Cleanser

That cat has been hanging out with jerk seagulls, clearly.

I think that’s called “taking the food right out of your mouth.”

I think it’s called BS, ‘cause y’know who eats with a cat standing conveniently on your hand?

  3. Long ago we had a cat who did a long con on us. She’d hop in our laps at mealtime, and settle in, purring. Then she started looking at the plates but never making a move, until the night about a week later my room mate and I had grilled steaks. She got up on his lap, as usual, lulled us with the purring, then proceeded to hop up, grab the entire steak and beat feet for under the sofa.

We were so shocked and impressed we let her get away with it.

She knew it was a one-off score, never tried that again.

    Smart cat.
