Lost in the news yesterday at the hearing, Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D-Fl) said that White House visitor logs revealed that 10 Republican representative were at a Dec. 21 White House meeting to brainstorm(!) how to pressure the Walking Termite Buffet —and former Vice President— Mike Pence to overturn the 2020 election:
- Brian Babin (R-TX)
- Andy Biggs (R-AZ)
- Matt Gaetz (R-FL)
- Louie Gohmert (R-TX)
- Paul Gosar (R-AZ)
- Andy Harris (R-MD)
- Jody Hice (R-GA)
- Jim Jordan (R-OH)
- Scott Perry (R-PA)
- Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA – and she wasn’t sworn-in as Rep. 3-Names, yet!)
These are the now-infamous Republicans of Hair Füror’s now-infamous statement “just say the election was corrupt and leave the rest to me and the Republican congressmen” to acting Deputy Attorney General Richard Donohue.
And in a weird coinkydink some of these Republicans would be the same ones who asked for pardons:
- Scott Perry
- Matt Gaetz
- Mo Brooks
- Screwie Louie Gohmert
- Andy Biggs
- Rep. 3-Names (Marjorie Taylor Greene)
Go figure.
To be clear, according to Adam Kinzinger, Brooks emailed the White House requesting general (all purpose) pardons for himself, Gaetz and the 147 Republican House members and senators who voted against certifying Arizona’s and Pennsylvania’s electors. The former director of the White House Presidential Personnel Office, John McEntee, said Hair Füror “hinted at blanket pardon” for “everyone involved.”
That’s a lot of Republicans and it shows us that they were all-in on the scheme to overthrow the election, i.e. they are co-conspirators. The significance of this shouldn’t be lost on any of us, and certainly should not be lost on the DOJ.
Something about a goose being cooked…

I wonder if Bo-Bo got lost on her way to the insurrection?

Not much of a brainstorming potential among that group. It would have been more like a brainfart.

Innocent people never ask for pardons.

Funny. I’ve never heard of a class action pardon before. Do these blanket pardons also include a license to kill?

That’s going to be one enormous gallows.

Aw, you’re giving Klannie Oakley Boebert a big sad. The cool kids didn’t invite her to their insurrection.
