Happy Hour News

Ladies and gents, presenting Justice QAnon:

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas in a dissenting opinion Thursday suggested that Covid-19 vaccines were developed using the cells of “aborted children….”

“…They object on religious grounds to all available COVID–19 vaccines because they were developed using cell lines derived from aborted children,” Thomas said of the petitioners.

Gonna make mine a double. A Justice, married to an insurrectionist, has gone full Q-spiracy.

  1. Is there ANY obligation on the part of SCOTUS Justices to actually tell the truth in their opinions or are they all “Just their opinion, man!” trolling?

Second time I’ve seen this, both times my first thought was “he needs to review the definition of children”.
But, of course, he’s going for the drama. He doesn’t care about the actual meaning.

He’s such an idiot, but Justice Idiot, or better Idiot Justice. From Politico…
“None of the Covid-19 vaccines in the United States contain the cells of aborted fetuses. Cells obtained from elective abortions decades ago were used in testing during the Covid vaccine development process, a practice that is common in vaccine testing — including for the rubella and chickenpox vaccinations.”

    • MDavis says:

Technically, the quote doesn’t show a claim that aborted, aherm, children were actually in the vaccines –

they were developed using cell lines derived from aborted children

My issue is that children, by definition, cannot be aborted. It’s nonsensical on the face.
Remember Nancy suddenly deciding that stem cells might not be the devil’s tool when she learned that they might be used to help Ronnie? Sudden change in her attitude toward using stem cells occurred.

How can we allow a Judge especially in his position to make rulings without at least a rudimentary knowledge of science? His statement is pure horseshit. At least not fall back to medieval fears in making a ruling. This is no longer the 18th century, we need educated Judges who are aware of science and can at least understand basic concepts. Thomas and his god-botherers must go, they aren’t judges anymore, they are high priests of their religion making edicts for the masses.

Some people have been waiting for Justice Ginni Thomas’ husband to say something for years, and now, he won’t STFU. It’s as if he’s been enabled or something.
