The WaPo tells us that the January 6 Committee would love to have a few words with SCOTUS Justice Ginni Thomas:
Rep. Bennie G. Thompson (D-Miss.), chairman of the House committee, said earlier Thursday that the panel plans to invite Virginia “Ginni” Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, to be interviewed. People involved in the investigation say newly obtained email correspondence between her and Eastman have revealed that her efforts to overturn the 2020 election were more extensive than previously known. Thomas said in a media interview that she looks forward to talking to the committee.

If her husband was a lawyer with any skill, knowledge or scruples he would have advised her to not do interviews and stay out of the public eye. But he’s not. My bet is she will be a no-show.

I agree on all points. She’ll crow about getting the opportunity to clear her name, then “have a very full calendar” when trying to schedule a time for the interview.
Play dates with various traitors takes up way more time than you imagine it would.

I’ve found that narcissistic & consummate liars love to “clear up misconceptions” because they always believe they’re smarter than their audience. In their self-centered and control-heady heads they’ve already mapped it out and are thoroughly convinced of their ability (to pull the wool).

Not to mention that she’s the wife of a Sup. Ct. Justice, and a self-identified Grande Dame of the D.C. GQP. Why it would be unthinkable that such a self-esteemed member of such a vital circle would have her useless ass indicted for something as trivial as a little (actually a lot of) sedition, wouldn’t it? I mean, wouldn’t it?

Haven’t these people watched Handmaid’s Tale? I assume they have watched at least a bit of it since it’s their ideal world. Ginni is a dumber Serena Joy in our world. If she gets her way, she’s immediately put out to pasture. And then there’s Clarence, he probably hasn’t noticed that he isn’t white and thinks things will be great for him in our fascist future.

It looks like the old adage ‘No one is above the law’ is about to be put to a test. since it’s pretty apparent Ginni Thomas believes she is in fact above the law.

If they don’t prosecute the treasonous activity that has come to light out of the hearings- then democracy is over for America. If they don’t prosecute the crimes committed by the seditious assholes who tried to over turn the election, then what the fuck are they doing?
