Today, Maine, Nevada, North Dakota and South Carolina will hold their primaries, while Texas will hold yet another special election.
Nevada is probably the most interesting to watch as they will have Governor, US Senator, and US Representatives. The Republicans are going to decide between the former Senator Dean Heller and 4th Reich-endorsed Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo. There is also a wild card former reality star and boxer Joey Gilbert. You will be surprised to learn that Lombardo is doing the best in the polling. On the Team Good side, it is the incumbent Gov. Steve Sisolak, who is expected to win renomination easily over his only opponent, former Clark County commissioner and state assemblyman Tom Collins. Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D), is going to win renomination easily, while on the Republican side the now-nutty and now-Republican Laxalt Dynasty will be running against moderate Sam Brown, a decorated veteran.
South Carolina, the seething hotbed of unbridled lust will vote on US Representatives. It has been gerrymandered to hell, so some Republican will win the nomination and go on to win the general.
Maine will do whatever it is that Maine does. The district is moderate R+6 and the incumbent is a Rep. Jared Golden (D) who is running unopposed, while the Republicans are slugging it out on the topic of immigration, because Maine is so close to the southern border, we guess?
Texas is a special election to fill an open seat when their current Representative Rep. Filemon Vela (D) decided to cut out the middleman and joined a lobbying firm and resigned the seat.
